LIMPHATIC BODYWORK
The power of lightness
The lymphatic system is a delicate network that relies on movement, breath, and gentle external stimulus. When this system slows, the body can feel heavy, stagnant, or weighed down. This work uses an exceptionally light, rhythmic touch to support your body's natural fluid movement and encourage a sense of ease.
Because the lymphatic vessels live just beneath the skin, pressure is intentionally feather-light. By tracing the natural pathways of the lymphatic system with deliberate, soothing movements, this therapy encourages fluid movement and supports the body's natural processes of clearing and renewal.
For sensitive bodies
Because the pressure is exceptionally light, this work is also a good option if you find regular massage overwhelming or too intense. The gentle, rhythmic quality creates a calm experience without the physical intensity of deeper work—so your body can relax while the lymphatic work unfolds. For those navigating touch sensitivity or returning to massage after a long time, this gentleness itself becomes the entry point.
A note on this practice: Unlike the cosmetic versions you may have seen, this is classical, wellness-focused lymphatic bodywork. The exceptionally light, rhythmic touch is characteristic of traditional lymphatic drainage, following the natural pathways of the lymphatic system rather than using the pressure associated with conventional massage. This is not a body-contouring treatment; it is a practice designed to support the body's natural fluid movement and meet your system where it is.
What to expect:
We begin with an unrushed conversation about where you're at—what's tight, what's strained, what's shifted recently. If you have a chronic condition or take medication, I'd suggest checking with your GP beforehand to confirm massage is suitable for you.
From there, your session is entirely tailored to you. Professional draping means only the area being worked on is ever uncovered, so your privacy is fully protected. The space is quiet and grounded, designed entirely for your process.
This may be for you if:
Your body feels heavy or stagnant, and you need a gentle approach to encourage fluid movement; regular massage feels too intense or overwhelming—whether you prefer a gentler approach or are returning to therapeutic touch after a long time without it; Your nervous system benefits from exceptionally light contact; physical discomfort shows up as puffiness, post-travel fatigue, or general heaviness; your system needs an especially gentle hand.

No. You may have come across lymphatic drainage advertised as a body-sculpting treatment that promises a temporary slimmer appearance. This is a different practice. My approach is rooted in the traditional lymphatic drainage massage style and uses light touch.
-
Much gentler than people typically expect from massage. The pressure is light—often described as a "feather touch"—and the movements are slow and rhythmic, following the natural pathways of the lymphatic system just beneath the skin.
-
Some people find that regular massage feels like too much intensity when they're exhausted or touch-sensitive. Lymphatic bodywork offers a gentler entry point, with exceptionally light, rhythmic touch that can provide space to slow down and settle. For some, that gentleness can be especially welcome during periods of depletion.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Part of reconnecting with your body is learning what it needs—and only you can feel that. Some people find value in weekly sessions, particularly during demanding periods or at the beginning of a body-based reconnection practice. Others prefer monthly as their steady rhythm. Listen to what your body asks for, and adjust the frequency as your needs change.

I don't currently offer pregnancy massage. However, if you're pregnant and interested in exploring my treatments, I invite you to book a reiki session. Reiki has no contraindications during pregnancy and is offered with the same grounded, attentive care.

Please check with your GP first to confirm this is suitable for you. Please note that I'm not able to treat lymphoedema, as this requires treatment from a medically trained practitioner.
